Google signs offtake for MN8 solar project using Eos Z3 long‑duration storage in West Virginia

MN8, Google and Eos announced the Mammoth Solar project in West Virginia combining 86 MW of utility-scale solar, 70 MW/280 MWh of lithium-ion storage and a 10 MW/100 MWh Eos Z3 zinc-based long-duration storage system; Google will purchase the energy, capacity and clean attributes. The solar is expected online in 2028 with lithium storage in 2029 and the Eos LDES in 2030 — the deal is the first commercial-scale LDES deployment in West Virginia and is pitched to deliver dispatchable, around-the-clock capacity to the PJM grid and Google’s data centers, with MN8 estimating up to $350M capex and ~200 construction jobs.

EOSE selected to supply Z3 long‐duration batteries for Golden Dome defense program

Eos Energy (EOSE) says it was selected under a Department of War 'Golden Dome for America' initiative to deploy its Z3 zinc‐based long‐duration energy storage as an initial prototype at a critical installation (the award was highlighted publicly by the President). The company says the Z3 is U.S.‐manufactured (~91% domestic content), Section 842 NDAA- and FEOC‐compliant and will be scaled at its Thorn Hill facility toward an 8 GWh annual target, but the announcement describes an initial prototype, gives only a 'multi‐million‐dollar' scope and is subject to government procurement, testing and acceptance risks.

Eos secures $75M from Hudson Bay; FPUSA equity expected to rise to ~$375M

Eos announced a $75M equity investment from Hudson Bay (plus a conditional $50M direct FPUSA commitment) that, together with earlier Cerberus support and Eos’ planned $150M contribution via a rights offering, would bring Frontier Power USA’s expected equity base to about $375M if fully subscribed. That equity is intended to support more than $1.5B of deployable project capital (~75% LTV) to accelerate conversion of a ~16 GWh project pipeline (about 2.7 GWh high-probability, ~1.2 GWh ready-to-sign) and expand deployment of Eos’ zinc-based long-duration storage tech.

EOSE books first order under FPUSA 2 GWh reservation for 100MW/400MWh Redbird

Eos Energy booked the first purchase order under Frontier Power USA's 2 GWh capacity reservation to supply its Z3 technology for the Redbird project (100 MW / 400 MWh, four-hour system) in ERCOT, with FPUSA providing 100% of equity for construction. The order is being applied against the 2 GWh reservation, brings Eos to nearly 50% fulfillment of a 1 GWh Bridgelink master supply agreement, and the company says it is advancing an additional ~12 GWh development pipeline across ERCOT, PJM, CAISO and MISO.

EOSE inks exclusive DACH master supply deal: 750 MWh commit, up to 2 GWh potential

Eos Energy (EOSE) signed a binding Master Supply Agreement with CAPAC Energy making CAPAC its exclusive distributor across Germany, Austria and Switzerland and securing a 750 MWh Indensity deployment commitment through 2031 with a pathway to scale to 2 GWh; first projects under an earlier purchase order are in construction with commercial operations targeted in late 2026. This is Eos' first international commercial framework and will include future project-level purchase orders in reported backlog while creating an option to evaluate local EU manufacturing, though revenue depends on future purchase orders, project financing and successful execution in the DACH market.

FPUSA-Stella framework targets conversion of 2+ GWh late-stage BESS pipeline using Eos capacity

FPUSA announced a strategic framework with Stella Energy Solutions to evaluate and potentially convert Stella's >2 GWh of late-stage battery energy storage projects onto FPUSA's platform, targeting deployment using FPUSA's 2 GWh capacity reservation with Eos Energy (EOSE). Stella is expected to serve as FPUSA's designated execution partner for the pipeline (anchored in ERCOT), with planned use of Eos Z3 long-duration batteries and an insured performance framework; conversions are subject to definitive agreements and FPUSA reaching full equity capitalization.
