Add, reduce and close a swing

Keep every completed fill in the same tracked position while it remains open.

Open Trade Tracker

Add an execution

Record the broker fill that opens, adds to, reduces or closes the selected swing.

1. 1. Open the active swing

Find the position in Active swing trades.

2. 2. Choose Add execution

Enter the broker-shown date, time, side, quantity and price for the completed fill.

3. 3. Review the result

A fill can add to the position, reduce it or return it to zero. The execution remains on its actual date.

Offline and website copies

If an offline Swing entry later matches the same executions entered on the website, sync stops before adding them again. Choose Already entered to remove the device copy, or Save as separate only when both sets really happened.

After you open Swing Trade Tracker online once, the installed app can reopen its execution form after a full offline relaunch. Enter related opening, add, reduce and closing fills together when they belong to the same update.

When a swing closes

A position that returns to zero moves from the active list to recently completed swings.

When the remaining position returns to zero, the swing is complete. Its saved execution history and dated notes remain available in recently completed swings. Opening the ticker again later begins a new position history.
